Introduction:
Detachable rubber waterstops are typically crafted from rubber materials, boasting elasticity and durability. When positioned at building corners or ground joints, these waterstops leverage their material properties to tightly seal structural gaps, ensuring waterproofing. The detachable nature of these waterstops facilitates easy maintenance and replacement. Removable rubber waterstops serve as a corrective measure for later use.
Classification:
Their structure broadly falls into two categories: one resembling the letter U, and the other featuring a central circular hole flanked by flat plates. Both are designated as removable waterstops, and their applications are similar.
Usage:
The function of detachable rubber waterstop is to allow for the removal of damaged original waterstops and the subsequent reinstallation of a new layer of removable rubber waterstop. Unlike embedded waterstops, which are cast into concrete, removable rubber waterstops are installed after the concrete construction is finished. This involves grooving and attaching expansion bolts and steel plates to the concrete surface.
