Single component polyurethane sealant is a solvent-free, one-component, room-temperature curing sealant. You can apply this sealant, which is in paste form, by extrusion or brushing. It resists sagging, so it won’t flow when filling vertical joints and top seams. After curing, the sealant layer is rubber-like and elastic. It sticks to metals, rubber, wood, cement, ceramics, glass, and more. Sealants fill gaps like holes and seams. They bond and seal effectively.

Single Component Polyurethane Sealant
Characteristics:
1. Wide range of adjustable performance and strong adaptability;
2. Good wear resistance.
3. High mechanical strength.
4. Good bonding performance.
5. Good elasticity and excellent recovery, suitable for dynamic joints.
6. Good low-temperature flexibility.
7. Good weather resistance, with a service life of up to 15 to 20 years.
8. Good oil resistance.
9. Resistant to biological aging.
10. Moderate price.
Industry Applications:
1. Applications in construction: filling and sealing of doors and windows, glass, etc.
2. Applications in civil engineering – joint sealing of highways, bridges, airport runways, etc.
3. Applications in automobiles – assembly sealing of car windows (mainly windshields).
Sealants fill gaps like holes, joints, and seams. They bond and seal effectively. The three main types of high-end sealants are polyurethane, silicone, and polysulfide sealants.
