Two Component Polysulfide Sealant

Two-component polysulfide sealant is a premium, non-sag product.

The manufacturer creates it using liquid polysulfide rubber mixed with.

• A vulcanizing agent

• An accelerant

• A fortifier

It has two parts. It can vulcanize and crosslink on its own at room temperature. The two components have a clear color difference, which makes mixing more convenient. It stays tightly sealed and water-resistant, even with constant vibrations and changing temperatures. Also, it has a good bonding effect for metal, concrete, and other materials.

Advantages:

Application:

The polysulfide sealant works well for both indoor and outdoor use. It seals static and dynamic joints effectively.

Using method

• Add component B and pigment to component A.

• Stir quickly up and down until it is well mixed.

• Wipe the mixed sealant in the site where it is waiting for construction with a small shovel.

• Do not soak or make contact with water within 48 hours after construction.

Note

• Mix component B into component A fully. This will alter the curing time and plasticity.

• The available time for mixed sealant is 2 hours. You should use the sealant as soon as possible after preparation to avoid the paste from curing.

• The surfaces that need construction must be clean, dry, and free of frost. They must be clean and free of oils, grease, paint, coatings, sealers, curing compounds, or any debris that could prevent adhesion.

Notice to avoid water and rain for 48 hours after construction.
